• We provide personalized assistance to make sure your choice of fabric and trim will work with your unique designs.
  
• With access to thousands of different hardware choices we can help you find the perfect hardware for unusual and hard to dress windows.

• The Silken Scissor is happy to provide you with a detailed estimate describing the cost for the labor and supplies prior to starting your project.
  
• If there are any design changes once a project has begun a new estimate will be provided to ensure no surprise costs at the end of a project.
• The Silken Scissor will personally oversee the installation of your project by a seasoned professional.
  

Other specialty services: For a minimal fee we can help you sell your project by providing a computer generated drawing of your window treatment designs featuring your fabric choices. Provide a digital picture of your client's window and we will draw the picture directly on it. At no extra cost we are happy to take the digital pictures during the measuring consultation. Have a sample treatment made up to help you with your sales. Clients who can see a sample are more likely to order the better product.

Assurances that your client is yours:

• The Silken Scissor makes it a policy not to work directly with designer's clients.
  
• We will never solicit your client directly and any contact regarding the project will go through the designer.

Fabric, trim and unusual products: Along with our hardware, we carry 12 different lines of fabric and 5 lines of trim; all available to help you find the perfectly coordinated fabric choices. We also have vinyl, naugahyde, and leather fabric and trim. Our two lines of solid silks come in 100's of colors and include, dupioni, taffeta, and Chinese silk. Get your silk hand pleated, in one of six different designs, such as a diagonal basket weave or pineapple.
